Things are progressing now as the stairs now have their marble treads just ready for a coat of paint to smarten up the black. Yesterday the electricians came back and fitted all the sockets and lights, then the carpenter fitted our old front door from upstairs so we are at least secure now. Sad day yesterday. Liverpool got beaten by Everton, 3 nil. Michael went down to watch but I had painters, tilers, the builder and uncle Tom Cobley here so had to give it a miss.
