Today is Sunday, so Joan and I went up to the site to check on progress over the last few days. Sunday is always a good day to do this because nobody is there and you can look around for detail things you want attended too. Imagine our surprise. The full gang was working, plasterers, tillers and wall builders. It would seem that they were behind schedule and the whip had been cracked.
