Our adventures in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus continue....

Unlucky for some, who knows. Today we all went down to the telecoms office again, to pay our dues for the installation of the phones. If you recall we have been promised this installation for some time now, each time we get a "maybe this week". Well this week is now very unlikely, they didn't want our money yet, this time it was because they have run out of cable. It really is very frustrating but we feel we can't really jump up and down too much, we may just end up at the bottom of the pending tray, for sure nobody has ever heard of an ombudsman here.

Once again we had a change in the weather pattern over the last few days. I suppose it is a bit like the U.K. really, rain, rain and a little more rain. At least it isn't cold rain but it has delayed progress in the garden. Ali from Greenside Garden Centre and his two men, lovingly named Bill & Ben, have had to stop work on the gravel laying etc.
