A quick look at the papers shows lots of coverage about the London bombings which is only to be expected.

The only item that could be of interest to potential home owners here is the mass exodus of Turkish mainland workers because of the get tough measures on residency and work permits. It would appear that foreigners, mostly Turks, have been leaving at a rate of 2,000 per day. Most of these of course are in the construction industry so that will be a formal excuse for the late delivery of your property. They say that as soon as these mainlanders have a formal passport they may come back in and apply for a work permit.
