Our adventures in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus continue....

It has remained a very cold week. Joan and I have been saying that this is the coldest we have known since we came over here, three and a half years ago.

Last night, when we nipped down to L.D's for a quick bite to eat, there was a local there, who said that it is many years since they have had a February so cold as this, but the last time this occured March was a very warm month, so here's hoping.

Having said all that, Joan and I have booked to go skiing in Bulgaria on 27th February for 7 days. Sort of gluten for punishment thing I suppose, but we have been to this resort, Borovets, before and it was very enjoyable, with the added advantage now that it is only 1.75 hours flying time from Larnaca.
