Our adventures in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus continue....

It has now gone really cold so the fires are working overtime. Joan has been busy setting up an apartment for a client and came home absolutely frozen this evening as the builders people are in and out and the doors wide open. Now we know why the locals wear five layers of clothing and the men still use long johns.

I had to go over to Nicosia this afternoon to deal with some of the month end bits at our suppliers and it absolutely hosed it down over there. Strange we can sometimes get sunshine on our side of the mountain and downpours on the other side.

Last evening, of course, eight of The Layabouts made our weekly trip to LDs, they would miss the banter and especially the George jokes if we didn't go over there.
