Our adventures in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus continue....

Sunday and a lovely sunny day. Especially ordered for Ann & Jeff who celebrated their ruby wedding, aided and abetted by many of their friends who gathered to help them celebrate. It was not the actual day but as they got married on Easter weekend 40 years ago it seemed appropriate. They had got the crew from The Pegasus bar to do the catering and as usual it was very good food enjoyed by all. We had done the same thing acouple of years ago and they do a mean doner on their portable machine with all the trimmings. The ladies had in fact done all the puds, as Turkish Cypriots do not know what a good pudding is. Big fattening trifles, Eaton mess with oodles of cream and merangue etc, lovely. Throughout the whole event there was a feint zzzzzzz from Ann's cat who didn't even wake for the cream. A great event and only cut short when it suddenly started to get very cold about 5 p.m.
